REVIEW POLICY:

Publishers: I am happy to accept different Advanced Reader Copies (ARC's) for Young Adult (YA) and Adult books in any genre, but especially in LGBTQIA+, Transgender, paranormal and fantasy/science-fiction themes. I will take on most genre's though. I also will take on Non-Fiction ARC's in the following suvjects: Palentology, Archaeology (this includes anything involved with this subject including dinosaurs), death and minor religions, Photography and videography, Small/Home Business, Prehistory (cavenmen and native americans or tribes alike), Serial Killers, Writing books, Self-help to do with Autism, ADHD and/or transgender issues, again, pretty much everything in LGBTQIA+, anything about Eqypt and/or the Mayans and Aztecs, anything to do with a CREEPY or WEIRD subject, books about art and artists, paranomal books, true horror stories, and much more. If you're not sure, just come and ask.

If you send a read and review request, please send a brief description of the book and the date you are looking to have the review posted by. Although I willing to work with authors/publishers on dates, I cannot make any guarantees. Please let me know whether you wish a copy of the review sent to you before posting it on my blog. I usually post simultaneously on my blog, Goodreads, Instagram, LibraryThing, Litsy and Amazon.

I receive my books to review from many sources: Publisher advanced reading copies (ARC), Publisher sent finished books, Author sent books, My own purchases, and NetGalley.
I prefer hard copies, however I am on NetGalley, BookSirens and I have Kindle (and PDF capable apps) if you'd rather email me a copy.

If you are a writer and wish me to review your work, please tell me a little about yourself and your book.

Authors and publishers interested in having me review a book for them, please feel free to contact me.

If I *really*enjoy a book I'd also consider doing some extra promotion, perhaps involving giveaways or even an author interview. However, soemtimes life catches up to us dreamers and it can take 2-4 months to finish a book they're going to review. However, this doesn't happen often as I LOVE to read.

Please note: As an avid reader I do have a large 'to be read' pile, but I always put important reads ahead of my own bookshelves.

I DO NOT ACCEPT MONEY for my reviews. All my reviews are my own opinions and not influenced by any outside sources. Also, unfortunately, I cannot promise to review every book that I receive. It honestly depends on my time, how much I enjoy the book and/or how well it sticks to my favourite genres.

Death & Illness, dark themed subjects, Palentology & Archaeology books, True Crime, Guides & How-to books, Religion & Spirituality, Children's books, Humanities & Social Sciences, Science & Technology, Writing, books on Small Business & Working from Home, and textbooks.


Unsolicited books are sent at the author/publisher's discretion. Due to the large amount of review requests that I receive, I cannot guarantee reviews for these books.

Please note that I do try to repsond to everyone's email or request personally, but sometimes I'm so busy that I only respond to the ones I agree to read and review.

Along with reviews being posted at bookishgrave.blogspot.com, most reviews will also be shared on Goodreads, Amazon, Shelfari, Barnes & Noble, George's Facebook Page, and George's Twitter.

GIVEAWAY POLICY:

Giveaways may include ebooks, new books, second-hand books, gift cards, swag, etc.

You must be at least 13 years old to enter any of the giveaways (by law) and have consent if under 18.

I will select winners using random.org. Winner's entries will be verified and if not completed or if winner entered an incomplete email address and I can't contact them (after using the information winner has given me), a new winner will be chosen. Once contacted, winners must respond in a timely manner with a mailing address, email address, or other info as requested or with choice of prize, if applicable. If I don't receive a response in a timely manner, a new winner will be selected. Winners' names will be posted at the end of the original giveaway post as well as a seperate post announcing winners.

I cannot be held responsible for lost books once they have been mailed, nor for an author or publisher not getting a book to you. I will, however, do everything I can to check into a lost book in case it wasn't sent or if something can be done (for example, tracking the package).

Most of my giveaways will usually be for people worldwide. However, please verify that you are eligible to enter a giveaway before doing so.


PRIVACY POLICY:

There are several types of information you may give when visiting or following my blog or when you sign up for my newsletter, leave a comment, or enter a giveaway, such as:

—Counted as part of my traffic stats plugins/tools for Google Analytics, affiliate programs, and Statcounter.com

—Information gathered for other 3rd party hosted services.

—Name, email and other information you willingly give on contact forms, such as Google forms.

—Some of your data may be transferred to servers in other countries dependent upon where you are located in order for those services to run (such as entering a comment or giveaway - if you live in the US, but I live in NZ, obviously the information is going to be transferred from your area to mine, just like an email transfers from your server to mine).

—When posting winners, I will only use the name that was used to enter the giveaway, which the winner provided. I will always disclose if a giveaway is being sponsored by a publisher or author so that the winner knows if their info will be passed along to said author or publisher, for that purpose only.

—If you need to leave a way for me to contact you, please do not use your full email address in comments as this allows spammers to access it. Please use this format: "name at yahoo dot com" or if you have a twitter account use that: "@name." There is rarely a time you ever need to leave your email.


For all of the information that may be collected by you visiting or following my blog or in communicating with me, I will never give, transfer, or exchange personal information without the your knowledge (such as to an author or publisher who needs to send a prize). I also will never sell personal information. The information you leave is used for the purposes stated above, and for which you give it for (such as in a giveaway or comment or email subscription, etc.).
